The Role

Here at Mars New Zealand, our Supply Chain team are on the hunt for an exceptional Activity Manager. Reporting to our S&OP, Demand & Activity Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and project management of all new product launches, promotions and changes ensuring project objectives are met and excellence in execution is achieved. 

 

Key responsibilities 

• Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders to execute activities to plan, on time, and with excellence 

• Track and monitor projects through to execution 

• Liaise with suppliers from around the world to coordinate the supply chain for each activity 

• Drive engagement and compliance with activity processes by providing clear direction and advice to stakeholders, and challenge existing practices and behaviours in the pursuit of efficiency 

• Utilising activation funnel methodology to communicate activity progress to stakeholders 

• Recommending appropriate corrective action to address progress gaps or issues identified 

 

What are we looking for? 

• Previous experience in Project Management desirable 

• Experience in FMCG or a consumer goods environment highly regarded 

• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or similar preferred 

• A passion for collaboratively partnering key cross segment stakeholders, up to senior leadership level
