About The Role:

A Project Manager is a key member of a project team working on Pharmaceutical and Clinical Trial projects. The successful candidate may serve as a project lead, overlooking the successful completion of complex projects by working closely with internal teams as well as clients. Tasks may include but are not limited to client data management, project analysis, and setup, scheduling, quote preparation, project file organization, placing tasks with linguists, and supporting linguists and technical teams with queries and training. A Project Manager supports special initiatives such as the review, development, and implementation of new processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the larger and more complex projects for large Life Science clients, specializing in Clinical Trials
  • Results-focused, taking care of the successful running of projects; client account growth; profitability of projects; client satisfaction, numbers and levels of quality issues; advancing technology solutions; and development of direct reports
  • Communicate well with client contacts, local offices, freelancers, and internal project team members
  • Maintain processes and methodology, and documentation of such, to ensure project success and value-added service to clients
  • Ensure accurate compilation and approval of estimates and proposals for existing clients and potential new customers by complying with the sales process
  • Plan projects through risk assessment planning, best process identification, implementation of the best methodology, and communication to project teams
  • Closely monitor projects by the comprehensive and effective use of standardized server project folder structure and thorough filling of project assets and documentation, budgets, change orders, resource request forms, handover documents, status sheets, timely invoicing, and payment tracking
  • Produce project schedules and thereafter using internal tracking sheet to monitor activity and production
  • Resolve client and project issues
  • Assisting in conference calls with existing clients and potential new clients

 

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive demonstrable experience e.g. 2+ years in a similar project management role with experience in the localization industry
  • At least 1+ years of budget management experience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including meticulous attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Analytical and organized problem-solving abilities
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Experience with CAT tools (Trados Studio)
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, HTML, XML)
  • Degree or experience with Life Sciences projects
  • Preferred: Experience managing Clinical Trial projects
