Job Description
Duties:
Responsible for project management such as establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, quality and technical; Familiar with Chinese Construction Code;
Reviews specifications, drawings, and vendor equipment documentation from both within the discipline as well as from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks resolution;
Support the implementation of project events; Maintain effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project;
Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and General Contractor, Design Institute, at all project stages;
Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications, prepare formal project progress and other reports;
Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team, manage the project process;
Ensure that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the internal database;
Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and reporting such opportunities to the appropriate line manager;
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above, major in architecture
5+ years of project management experience in China, Experience in a German consultant company preferred
Familiar with the architecture design and construction related codes and its application
Client orientated mindset, ability to adjust quickly to customer needs
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Outstanding ability to excellent negotiation-, closing- and follow-up skill
Self-motivated personality with ability to work independently and systematically
Outstanding communication (verbal and written)
Native language German, excellent English skills
Excellent presentation, listening and consulting skills are vital
Sufficient computer skills (MS office, MS project, and CAD, Photoshop, sketch up)
This position may require extensive travel
