How will you make an impact?

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead new product development projects. This role will facilitate the execution of the product development projects with the goal of predictable product launches. The candidate will be proficient in project management processes, tools, and strategies.
 
The individual will work in R&D and collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations and the business leadership team to efficiently execute new product development projects. In order to facilitate this, the candidate must possess strong communication, leadership and time management skills.
 
Our technology is based on monitoring and analysis of gaseous and particulate emissions, process flows and pollutants. Our products are considered innovative, and we utilize the latest technology available to continuously evolve our product line.
 
What will you do?              
  • Lead all aspects of project management activities for all new product development projects
  • Development of realistic, yet bold, project plans
  • Identifying program risks, providing and executing mitigation plans, in order to maintain project plans and business goals
  • Oversight of project budgets
  • Align project plans between on-shore and off-shore development teams
  • Develop and implement leading indicator metrics for ongoing projects to ensure project delivery per the product roadmap
  • Implementation of standard processes for effective project planning and project status information sharing across all levels of the business, including clear presentation of project status via weekly dashboards to senior management
  • Act as hands on project manager for critical-to-business development programs
  • Maintain and provide continuous improvement to the phase-gate system, quality processes, and standard work
 
How will you get here?
  • MS in Engineering or related technical field
  • PMP Certification required
 
 Experience:
  • 6+ years project / program management experience with global cross-functional teams
  • Expertise utilizing project management tools
  • Prior experience leading FMEA, DFM & DOE reviews desirable
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Proven eye for business and leadership traits to lead across the business at all levels
  • Process oriented individual with experience in leading to metrics
  • Ability to drive programs through influence
  • Ability to coach and mentor others in the standard methodologies of project management
  • Team building, exceptional soft skills, and leadership skills are required for success
  • Proficient to expert level experience with Microsoft applications
