Logistics Project Manager will lead projects sanctioned by the Regional & Global Logistics Leadership Teams from initiation through to implementation including handover to the business as usual teams with the agreed considerations of time, budget and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

    Accountable for the delivery of regional and global Logistics related projects and programmes of work ensuring that they are delivered on time, to budget and in line with the agreed financial and non-financial business benefits.

    Lead the creation of the project plan via the project sponsor agreeing the plan including activities, resources, costs, role and responsibilities and quality assurance.

    Ensuring that you follow the project work plans and recommend any required revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

    Ensure that any impacts and changes that result from the project are effectively communicated to the business.

    You will have responsibility for building and leading project teams and ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated and that all project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately.

    Taking responsibility of building project/programme improvement plans ensuring that all project risks are identified and managed effectively by the business leaders and project team.

    You will resolve project quality and compliance risks and issues, and where appropriate escalate these to your project sponsor.

    You will manage the relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and committed to the objectives of the project.

Typical Accountabilities:

    Lead Asia Pac regional logistics projects, working together with Area logistics leaders, distribution managers and local market logistics teams to deliver the project on time and on budget.

    Overall governance of the project relating to status, cost and resources

    Lead local logistics team to Launch NPI product in Asia Pac markets to agreed schedules, and represent Global Logistics function in GOLT meeting (a cross function meeting for NPI product by brand).

    Lead SOTC (sales order to cash) divestment process for APJ region, and coordinate with cross regional project managers to deliver on time.

    Lead AsiaPac logistics team to deliver the APJ lean strategy. Coordinate with APJ LT and GLF Lean coach to develop Lean objectives and the deployment plan.

     Represent APJ Logistics team in BPM (Business Process Management) program as regional process champion and work with cross region peers and global process owner to improve the process maturity level.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

Business degree or equivalent experience

     Strong experience in managing key projects and programmes of work

     Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

     Proven ability to manage and work with cross- functional teams

     Proven ability to plan and execute multiple projects and tasks concurrently

     Good stakeholder management capabilities

     Good business acumen and strong analytical skills

     Experience of working in GDP, GSP and GMP environments

     Fluent in English

Desirable

     Experience within Distribution or Logistics

     Experience with commercialization and launch of new products

     Knowledge and understanding of current

Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)

     Project Management Certification
