We are looking for motivated candidates for a challenging and unique project in China starting as soon as possible.

If you are interested in working in the Zhenjiang Area for a defined period of time and looking for an opportunity to grow personally by working together with other cultures, you are our ideal candidate.

This project will cover all aspects from developing a new product, setting up a new site, planning and installation of all necessary equipment, ramping up the production to even taking over responsibility for a defined area of operations.

Your responsibilities

• Your ideas and your expertise are requested when it comes to planning, coordination and technical leadership of the production integration within the technology Body in White (BiW).
• As a proactive key-player you take over responsibilities for the development of the BiW production processes/facilities and contribute to achieving the project targets.
• As an expert you support the local team by transferring Magna Steyr know-how of all BiW specific topics and take the lead in steering meetings.
• As a goal oriented personality you are responsible for setting up and tracking the BiW specific timing schedule as well as coordinating the responsible manufacturing engineers.

Your profile

• Higher technical education
• Strong technology specific know-how of BiW processes and methods
• Leadership skills to ensure the achievement of the production process targets (Quality, Timing & Costs)
• Working experience of at least one complete vehicle integration as a manufacturing engineer within the technology BiW advantageous
• Well-founded know-how in Project Management and Problem Solving
• Working experience within intercultural teams especially in Chinese business relations
• Flexibility and the willingness to travel
• Very good English skills (written and spoken)
• Chinese language skills advantageous
