Sydney (preferable), but also open to Brisbane or Melbourne based.
Position Summary:
- You will have the role of project manager in planning and managing multiple projects at the same time. This includes managing all projects to time and resource constraints from project start through to production maintenance and ongoing support for Bentley’s ProjectWise Cloud hosted systems. He/she is responsible for understanding/managing the user expectations, assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying the required resources and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. The success manager ensures adherence to quality standards and internal Bentley methodologies during the project and once the user is hosted in Bentley’s Cloud hosted environment.
- You will be responsible for communications to Bentley’s ProjectWise Cloud hosted accounts including:
- Sending reminders of upcoming patch and maintenance weekends.
- Notifying users of upcoming product releases to create interest in upgrading.
- Creating and sending final Priority 1 incident reports.
- Scheduling and hosting Service Level Agreement (SLA) review calls.
- Performing audits to confirm we are following our change management processes.
- Monitor Managed Services support requests to help ensure sure they are responded in a timely manner per our SLA.
- Supporting efforts to Increase usage of ProjectWise hosted in the Cloud.
- Reviewing the PW Managed Services Opportunity Pipeline in Cloud for Sales and updating the CMDB.
- Managing the process for decommissioning server farms or datasources as needed.
- Providing input into how our Managed Services processes or tools can be improved.
- Documenting ProjectWise Managed Services processes and procedures.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Prepare project scope (what is to be delivered), schedules and manage your projects accordingly.
- Define the resources needed to effectively execute the project.
- Ensure proper, regular use, and maintenance of Bentley’s Project Management and Cloud Hosted project tracking and data collection tools.
- Agree project success and acceptance criteria with all involved parties.
- Manage changes to the project scope, resources, and project schedule.
- Manage stakeholders through effectively communicating project plans, progress, expectations, risks, assumptions and dependencies in a timely and clear fashion throughout the project.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, and escalate as required.
- Review, manage and approve timesheets for project team members.
- Provide a smooth transition from project kick-off to long term support/maintenance of Bentley’s ProjectWise hosted solutions.
- Conduct project lessons learned and post appropriate items to the knowledge repository.
- Achieve appropriate customer satisfaction.
- Monitor service tickets for timely completion

What You Bring To The Team:
- Formal Education & Certification - University degree, College diploma in a technical field, or the relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in a project management capacity, ideally including software implementation projects.
- Certifications in project management, such as the PMP certification, desired.
- Strong organizational and time management skills such that you can manage 10+ small to midsize projects at the same time.
- Relationship Management: Able to develop rapport with others and recognize their concerns and feelings; build and maintain long-term associations based on trust; help others.
- Ability to be a strong team player and communicate effectively among a diverse work team in multiple locations. Confident in dealing with technical experts, sales colleagues, engineers, senior management and working in the Technology field.
- Communication: Able to clearly present information through the spoken or written word; read and interpret complex information; talk with customers or clients; listens well.
- Planning, Prioritizing, and Goal Setting: Able to prepare for emerging customer needs; manage multiple projects; determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans; organize and schedule people and tasks.
- Self-motivated and require little management oversight.
- Basic knowledge of ProjectWise or a similar software is a bonus, but not required.
