We are currently seeking a (Senior) Project Manager with a PLM / Manufacturing background to join our highly regarded team here at Siemens. What is the main mission of our Project Managers? As part of the Services organization, you will be run one or several Services project which may or may not already be related to each other. The end result will always lead to driving customers value, whilst delivering the project(s) within the defined targeted outcomes, such as financial, schedule, scope and quality, while ensuring customer happiness. It is important to have a strong focus on realizing customer value by performing successful projects. There is no such thing as a perfect candidate so if you are debating whether to apply, we would encourage you to do so! In the role you will support multiple customers in Czech Republic, mainly in the transportation, aerospace and industrial machinery industries. You do not need to be based in Prague, where our office is situated, but you need to count with regular weekly travel to Prague in the initial period and also with travel to client meetings. Key challenges Lead the Project Team with responsibility for project financials Drive value realization Initiate and implement/deliver a project structure and governance model As the project owner, manage the project throughout the entire life cycle demonstrating Siemens Delivery Framework. Show responsibility and full accountability for the result of the project, for project tracking in terms of activities, timing, costs, and risks Work closely with the Customer, Presales and Sales teams and Services Engagement manager for defining the project scope and objectives to ensure project members know what is expected from each other Apply corporate best practices, policies, methodologies & practices Effectively forecast revenue generated by assigned projects Promote customer relationship: project success is directly related to customer satisfaction; therefore, a good customer relationship is fundamental Encourage and supports escalations: Communicate project milestones to all concerned parties as well as status updates, any existing or potential customer escalation issues and follow the right escalation processes Your qualifications Ideally at least 3-5 years of experience as Project Manager enterprise IT implementation projects of PLM, MOM or ERP platforms. Undergraduate or graduate degree in technical field, preferably IT or engineering. PMI or equivalent certification is a plus. Business-minded and able to understand the helicopter perspective in the service organization, able to identify problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis. Confident communicator in both Czech & English (spoken and written). Experience in dealing with C-level stakeholders. Calm and collaborative, comfortable with work under pressure and with change and complexity in dynamic environments, with good time management skills.
