Job Description

Project Manager of Electrical Standardize (FULL-TIME) to work with the Engineering Department of Li-GBU in China. The ideal candidate will be a high energy, collaborative individual who aspires to find creative ways to solve problems, answer questions, and improve processes. This position is part of the team responsible for the execution (concept through start-up) to build a production facility for Lithium Hydroxide. The position will be part of the project management team. The candidate will provide oversight and technical support to concept, site engineering, construction, commissioning, Capex procurement support of the project.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Work with cross functional team especially Jiangxi/Sichuan/other potential site plant team to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support the business objectives.
·         Drive and lead effective execution of the engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities throughout the project, leveraging many diverse and local or global vendors.
·         Maintain quality and timeliness of all project activities and deliverables throughout the process.
·         Work with local design institute to ensure the technical correctness of all engineering designs and installations.
·         Coordinate resource requirements and project execution with other ongoing plant activities / work to ensure all stakeholder expectations are aligned.
·         Ensure all technical documents are reviewed and approved at the appropriate levels and input is incorporated.
·         Participate in the supply chain functions including but not limited to the execution of requests for proposals, the creation of and approval of purchasing requisitions, bid tabulations, and single source justifications.
·         Identify and manage scope changes through the project change order system.
·         Ensure compliance with company procedures, project documentation requirements, engineering standards and specifications.
·         Maintain timely and accurate reporting including weekly and monthly reports which support the project controls function.

Maintain and keep well relationship with local government officer and authorities.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Electrical supply and/or instrument control Engineering.

·         Ability to align project objectives and justifications with various stakeholder groups.

          Ability to supervise multi-disciplined teams.

·         Keen focus on project change management.
Safety:
·         A leader in safety on assigned projects including setting expectations and being visible in the field.
          Cooperate with plant HSSE team to ensure construction/commissioning move forward in space limitation in existed plant.
Engineering

·         Understanding of engineering progress and construction productivity measurement. Ideal to have experience in full phase of design experience.

·         Familiar with engineering and construction documents.

·         Knowledge with front end definition scoring tools such as PDRI, FELx, or equivalent.

·         Working knowledge of engineering design tools – 3-D Model Review, PDMS etc.

·         Basic knowledge of engineering document control.

Construction

·         Basic understanding of constructability reviews and other value improving practices.

·         Basic knowledge of construction labor planning.

·         Knowledge of construction safety requirements and measurement.
Planning and Cost control

·         Knowledge of project controls and cost forecasting.
·         Ability to prepare and analyse critical path schedules.
·         Basic estimating skills and knowledge of engineering and construction cost structure.
Others
·         Basic knowledge of materials management, procurement, receiving, warehousing, GR, etc.
·         Experience with SAP Project Module and other basic SAP transactions.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Excellent people skills - Customer focused.
Computer skill

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project or P6.
·         Familiarity with commercially available plant design products such as Autodesk’s AutoCAD, Integraph PDS, PDMS, etc.
