What will you do? Manage projects according to the company’s established project management, methodologies and tools. Develop project execution plan, detailed project schedules, incorporating critical timelines from construction requirements including work breakdown structure, work package, and resource planning to achieve the defined milestones. Manage contract requirements by ensuring that the project requirements are met as per project scope, track site variations to generate change orders and claims. Proactively manage project risks, issues and develops mitigation plans to address potential problems. Direct project technical teams through various stages including planning, estimating, designing, installation, start-up commissioning, turnover and warranty. Manage project financials by utilizing tools to monitor costs, forecast revenue and billings to maintain positive cash flow. What will you need to succeed? University Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an asset. 5+ years Project Management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certified with PMI or equivalent designation is an asset. Experience in managing or supervising commercial Fire Alarm Systems projects.
