Job Description
Founded in 2001, base in China, Franke Asia Sourcing provide value-added sourcing services to other Franke companies and third party companies all over the world, product category including taps, High Quality Hand Fabricated Sink, Deep Draw & Basins, Strainer Bowls, Sink Accessories & Components, WS Commercial Products, KS Appliance & Solar Water Heater, Motor & Waste Disposer, Beverage System, FS Wire Works, FS hot products, FS Commodity, etc.
Your responsibility
- Manage NPI for major categories, work with internal customers to deliver projects under desired timeframe
- Anticipate key project requirements within specified category to identify and scope suppliers aligned to category strategy and sourcing strategy
- Assess product feasibility and optimize product design to meet target cost and functional requirements
- Identify & pre-qualify suppliers; Obtain RFQs from suppliers; Work closely with cost engineering function to estimate initial configurations
- Interface with both product team in business units and suppliers to reach commercial agreements;
- Initiate and implement continuous improvement plans on pricing, design, quality, deliver and service
- Support global product teams by ensuring visibility to current portfolio of sourced products and suppliers to support new projects
- Manage team and KPIs
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor
Your Profile
- College degree or above, major in Engineering
- At least 5 years working experience, 2 years relevant working experience
- Fluent in English, CET-6
- Supply chain understanding; Cost structure for tap products
- Deep understanding about tap industry, knowledge about products and project management
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects
- Team player and self-motivation
- Industry and global market understanding
- Project management skills
- Supplier relationship management
- Intensive travel required
