This position is responsible for the oversight and efficient execution of multiple informatics projects and manage support service simultaneously across APAC region.  Main responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Effective coordination and delivery of professional and maintenance service by providing oversight and management of concurrent projects based on Informatics service and delivery capabilities.

• Managing project budgets and resource allocation. Coordinate resource requirements for projects, including recruitment, provisioning of service provider resources, scheduling, monitoring and controlling project development, quality assurance and risk management.

• Contribute to and deploy long-term strategic plans for working with 3rd party service providers in APAC region.

• Contribute to approaches to collaborate between Regional Virtual Teams.

• Coach and support Regional Support Managers and Implementation teams.

• Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement change.

• Support the development, maintenance and communication of systems documentation policies procedures and training to ensure system and regulatory compliance and effective utilization of physical and financial resources.

• Participate in a continuous improvement process whereby knowledge can be documented and shared across the division to improve service effectiveness.

• Support the use of selected project management / reporting tools and ensure professional and maintenance services delivery is meeting agreed performance metrics for utilization, quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Medical technology

• Minimum 10 years of increasingly responsible experience, including experience successfully managing various projects.

• Minimum 5 years’ project management experience covering entire software lifecycle in a team environment

• Strong technical background with proven experience managing technical resources.

• Experience working in managing out-source or cross service providers.

• Experience working in collaborating virtual teams.

• Knowledgeable in SQL, .Net, C# or JavaScript. Expertise in database applications, particularly in Oracle and/or MS SQL Server a plus

• Qualifications of PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification is desirable;

• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
