Job Description
- To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards
- To advise at a strategic level throughout all stages of the Design, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives
- To lead the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- To plan for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
- Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
- To advise upon the procurement of resources
- To lead and facilitate the co-ordination of project Engineering design teams
- To monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance
- To manage the change control process relating to Engineering elements
- To monitor and advise upon project finances related to Engineering elements
- To manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
- To ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports
- To take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
Qualifications
- Professionally qualified in the field of Electrical, HVAC or Building services Engineering or construction related discipline
- 6+ Years experience in the construction industry
- Experience working on-site for large scale projects
