This is a Project Manager role at Global Grade 14, reporting to the Operations Manager in the Business Area - Process Automation located in Shanghai, China. As a Project Manager, with the support of project team you will be responsible for successful execution/delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget, as per contract agreement, within quality & safety framework of ABB starting from handover from sales until project close out.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for the execution of appointed customer projects, focus being in maximizing financial result, staying on contractual schedule and high customer satisfaction.
• Having the overall responsibility for leading the implementation of customer projects in good co-operation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Working on project planning, scheduling, resourcing, cost control and forecasting, risk management and reporting to the steering committee.
• Working closely with the operation manager.

Your background

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering in electrical or other relevant industrial engineering fields.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in project business; international work experience in a western based company are highly valued.
• Professional level competency with MS Office tools, experience in MS Project, SAP or other ERP system are mandatory.
• Proficiency in English is required both in written and spoken skills.
• Willingness to commit to achieve company goals, analytical decision making, problem-solving skills, ability to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
• Project management capability, professional personnel management, coaching and excellent team leading abilities are prerequisites.
