JOB TITLE & SUMMARY

# Project Manager Purchasing-Sourcing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

# Discuss and define client product requirements with Senior Project Manager
# Identify potential suppliers via sourcing platforms or existing supplier network
# Evaluate and assess suitable suppliers via phone, email, wechat and on site
# Submit financial entries in accounting system (Purchase Orders, Supplier Bills, etc.) for accounting approval
# Conduct on-site quality controls for critical projects
# Prepare & arrange bulk and sample shipments with forwarder and oversee timely deliveries


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

# Fluency in Mandarin and good English skills (written and spoken)
# Ability to prioritize, multi-task and self-organize independently and in a structured manner in a fast-paced environment
# Solution-oriented / good problem solving skills and ability to think out of the box
# Diligent, detail-oriented and reliable
# Able to quickly learn new production processes and build material know-how
# At least 5-7 years working experience in a sourcing- or trading-company - ideally serving international markets and clients
# Product experience with PU bags, small leather goods, fashion jewelry, packaging or displays / POS material or gifts would be a plus (but not a must have)
# Willingness to travel inside China (about 5 days / month)
# Good people skills / confident and firm if needed when dealing with suppliers

# Over RMB 13.000,00 - negotiable based on experience
