Siemens Real Estate: Our roots are in corporate real estate management for Siemens. In this role, we take overall responsibility for all real estate activities. We manage the portfolio, optimize space utilization, oversee the operation of our real estate, including all real-estate-related services, are responsible for letting and sales, and implement all of our construction projects. We always aim to support the company's strategy and its businesses as best we can, thus creating long-term value. Part of these services is available to other companies. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like: Lead activities and projects in assigned areas. Develop vital project plans, cost estimates, budgets, work breakdowns, schedules, and project summary descriptions and justifications for department review. Ensure integrated planning and collaboration by internal/external partners or customers to support the successful completion of assigned projects. Provide project leadership and coordination including, but not limited to, project planning with internal departments, functions, and customers through meetings and shared written and oral reporting and communications. Ensure delivery of timely and accurate project planning information on projects. Collect, verify, prioritize, and maintain data. Prepare and provide written summaries, reports, and recommendations for projects. Respond by the most appropriate means, i.e., verbal or written, to routine and time-critical inquiries. Ensure assigned work activities successfully contribute to the overall completion of department projects. Plan, coordinate, prioritize, monitor, guide, review, and conduct work activities associated with department internal/external projects in accordance with established task objectives and schedules as outlined in the project plans. Ensure that project team member's and contractor's work methods, technical methodologies, and problem-solving methods meet policies and quality standards, and contract terms. Provide project guidance to project team members and contractors to develop unique solutions that address new or difficult problems on projects. Direct preparation of verbal and written reports on technical problems. Represent owner position, priority(ies), and interest(s) on multi-agency projects and to various industries, government, interest groups, and regulatory bodies. Provide leadership and direction for assigned tasks in order to meet defined unit goals and schedules and comply with the schedule, quality, quantity, safety, and performance standards. Plan, coordinate, prioritize, monitor, and guide work activities of project team members to meet established task objectives and deadlines by following established policies and precedents. Connect with the team member and incorporate their input into processes and techniques. Promote safety and a safe work environment Assist in evaluating work performance results. Participate as a team member in accomplishing team and corporate objectives. Refer problem to supervisory staff when solutions are not readily achievable. Align with internal customers on projects to ensure they are following appropriate processes. Work through RFP and vendor selection process. Handle vendor onboarding. Issue procurement requisitions for projects. Close out projects. Work closely with the finance and accounting team To thrive in this role, you have: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Real Estate, Architecture, or a related field. Experience: 10 years experience in the commercial real estate industry showing a progression of asset management roles. Interpersonal Skills: Desire to get to know people and develop relationships, positive and optimistic attitude, analytical, detail-oriented, collaborator by nature. Professional Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 and similar cloud-based tools, a basic understanding of real estate transactions or willingness to learn, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to work with a remote team by leveraging tools and leaning into relationships as opposed to hiding behind emails/texts. The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $102,525 - $170,875 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.
