Job Description

We are now inviting application(s) for the following post in the School of Nursing and Health Studies:

Project Manager (Ref: 20003G7)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • managing and coordinating two community projects under the Home Health Watch Health Volunteer Training Programme;
  • planning, coordinating and carrying out training activities/Medication Watch project for the community health volunteers and community-dwelling elders;
  • liaising with community partners; and
  • undertaking other duties as assigned by the Dean and his/her nominees.


Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • a recognized degree, preferably a higher degree in Nursing or a related discipline;
  • at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in the areas of Community Nursing, Health Promotion and education;
  • a license issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong to practice as a Registered Nurse;
  • a good command of English and Chinese;
  • good communication and leadership skills, self-initiatives, innovative thinking is preferred; and
  • working experience in community care setting will be an advantage.


Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.


Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.
