In this role with Siemens Mobility (SMO), you will report to the Senior Project Manager (SPM) - Execution (Rolling Stock) and work closely with all disciplines within the Rolling Stock and the wider business to ensure high quality order execution in line with project management processes governed by PM@Siemens guidelines. Change the future with us You will be responsible to assist in project management for Indian Railways & Metro Rolling Stock orders like EMU, MEMU, Trainsets, Locomotives, Metros etc. including rolling stock components / products. The responsibilities will include: · Assist SPM in managing cross functional project team comprising engineering, procurement, planning, testing and commissioning, quality, production etc. Assist SPM in core project deliverables incl .design approval process, timely delivery of prototype rolling stock /components, testing & commissioning of rolling stock, homologation of prototype vehicle, commencement of series deliveries, payment collection from customer, managing the warranty period and timely contract closure. Participate & take action based on all discussions and interfaces within the organization and towards customer stakeholders · Work closely with team to monitor key KPIs of execution viz. Quality, Planning, Cost and Time · Participate in the technical and commercial topics towards customer organization · Work closely with SPM & project core team on Project Governance activities (gate reviews) to ensure qualitative and timely execution · Prepare all project reviews within organization and towards customers · Assist SPM in managing contractual warranty obligations for timely project closure Use your skills to move the world forward Relevant experience of around 4 years in Project Management or related function like planning, operations in Railway / Metro Rolling stock domain You have good communication and collaboration skills You have been part of team managing execution of Rolling Stock / components projects from Indian Railways / Metro organization in the past.
