Siemens Smart Infrastructure are recruiting a Service Delivery Project Manager to help us find solutions to make the world a smarter place for tomorrow. PURPOSE OF ROLE Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, the Service Delivery Project Manager is a critical role within the Service Operations Team. The Service Delivery Project Manager is responsible for organising and securing the Service Delivery Team resources for delivering Service projects and managing long term service agreements. The Service Delivery Project Manager reports direct into the Service Operations Manager. The Service Delivery teams are multi-skilled field-based teams, that are responsible for providing emergency response, planned response, maintenance, installation and commissioning services covering the whole EA product portfolio and agreed customer specific service contracts, in accordance with the agreed quality, technical and statutory requirements to meet the strategic business aims and targets. Additional they also provide support to the Operations teams for project delivery siteworks and tendering. They are responsible for successful completion of the warranty period following handover from the Operations teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the Service Operations Manager with the successful implementation of the Service Delivery Strategy. • Provide leadership, guidance, and operations expertise to the project team for delivering the project safely to meet the business aims and objectives. • Promote and encourage a positive team culture across the teams to improve collaboration, innovation and build customer relationships to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. • Support the Service Operations Manager with development of the team through monitoring and report on goal setting and performance. • Work closely with the Service Delivery Operations Manager and Delivery teams to improve performance and target reduction of non-conformances to meet or exceed business targets within their teams. • Support the monthly reporting of nonconformance costs, to identify trends and take corrective and preventative measures to minimise project nonconformances. THE PERSON • Preferably a Degree/HND in electrical or electronic engineering, product design or engineering technology. Or, you may have gained your expertise through learning on the job. Either would be suitable. • Experience of leading a multi-skilled field-based team ideally in an electrical transmission & distribution projects/switchgear service delivery organisation • Good working knowledge of utility and industrial standards covering all market verticals • Good understanding of problem solving and improvement techniques • Proficient in Microsoft packages and document control systems • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
