Job Description
Key responsibilities:
 
  •  Reports to Senior Project Manager in a Business Unit responsible for 3C (i.e. Consumer, Computer, Communication) business segment.
  • Coordinates all activities of assigned projects and accountable for the project performances.
  •  Responsibility includes planning, scheduling, and managing personnel and engineering work to ensure effective coordination of projects.
  • Responsible for the monitoring engineering work for compliance to industry standards, company practices, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain and explore new sales opportunities with existing customer
  • Possess sufficient technical knowledge of assigned projects to identify problems, provide guidance to project members, and be sure the work product fulfils requirements.
  • Expected to spend time on meetings with staff, clients, contractors, and other management.
  • Able to manage stress due to the deadline-driven nature of work and the difficulties inherent in overseeing dynamics of multiple projects.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering with at least 2-3 years’ experience in R&D, Engineering or Manufacturing positions in 3C business sector, ideally experience in the coating industry.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate leadership.
  • Ability to operate in an international business environment, high proficiency required in operating in the PRC business environment.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities, as well as problem-solving skills
  • Preferably to have some experience in business and management principles, including financial management, budgeting, and personnel management, as well as procurement, policies, and contract negotiations.
  • Has potential and interests to be developed into further roles such as Sales and Marketing roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English & Chinese (As this person is stationed in Shanghai, Chinese speaking is a must to liaise with Chinese speaking counterparts)
  • Able to travel independent at short notice when call upon for business.
