As part of the PMed PMO, the Project Manager, Systems & Operations, will be responsible for effective management (organization, planning, execution, control, and evaluation) of Program management and analytics solutions, team SharePoint and functional portfolio reporting. The role will interact with PMed sub functions and leads, Portfolio Program Management (PPM), Discovery, Development Sciences, and other key stakeholders to develop systems and solutions to ensure R&D alignment of PMed Strategies and deliverables across the portfolio. The position will report to the Director, PMed PMO Responsibilities: Create, manage and provide ongoing production support, configuration and development of all aspects of the of PMed Program management system and tools for strategic planning and operational execution. Responsible for ensuring the PMed program management system is integrated with AbbVie’s Asset management Platform as well as other relevant cross-functional systems. Partner with Portfolio Program Management (PPM), IT, PMed Business OpEx, Biosample Project Management (BPM), Discovery and other Key stakeholders to consolidate information that supports PMed PMO processes. Develop/customize PMed Program management system and tool documentation and other training materials to meet functional needs. Conduct training on program management tools for the PMed and cross-functional user community. Manage multiple Platforms (SharePoint (O365) site collections, Qlik, Power BI, Smartsheets, Swimlane) for different analytical and operational reporting needs of the PMed function and executive level reporting. Develops and maintains portfolio level functional plans in collaboration with PMed leads, Asset Planners and relevant stakeholders to ensure PMed milestones are adequately planned, tracked. Works with relevant functions and sub functions (BPM, Translational medicine, CDx, Discovery, Dev Sci) to drive the execution of PMed related activities and deliverables. Supports mechanisms to identify, capture and report functional performance metrics, analyze metrics with subject matter experts in an effort to drive increased quality and productivity across the organization. Recommends and implements process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent related work experience required, preferably in a technical, scientific or project management related discipline and 6+ years professional work experience, preferably in project management, system based processes, or the pharmaceutical or biotech industry; or Masters degree with 3+ years of work experience Accreditation in a project management or process improvement discipline preferred (e.g. Project Management Professional). Preferred, Clinical Project Management training. Experience with building systems, process mapping, timeline management, analytics and reporting, metrics capturing. Expert in the application of project management software and ability to utilize R&D project and portfolio management systems (e.g., MS Office software, MS Project, Sharepoint, Oracle Platforms, etc.) required.
