Job Description
Position Overview: In the Project Manager, Ultrasound position you will be working directly with the Head of NAM Ultrasound and leaders in the organization. Responsible for facilitating, tracking, and reporting on progress towards organizational objectives and providing methodological support and C-suite presentations to different strategic work streams driven by senior management; including portfolio sales initiatives, sales funnel, compensation and quota. This position requires a strong PM who collaborates well with executives, has strong execution skills and the ability to create executive level strategic presentations. Manages and executes on complex projects and programs, including acting as functional or business practice resource on projects/programs. Performs active role in maintaining internal and external relationships. Independently performs full range of standard work for the organization. Identifies and resolves complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with situations, while escalating appropriately. This is an individual contributor role and reports to the Head of NAM Ultrasound. Responsibilities include: • Project Management of operational initiatives and projects, including designing and directing programs tied to the org strategic objectives. • Creating project management templates (Gantt charts, Status sheets, Hoshin Kanri tool, etc.) • Monitoring and reporting on progress towards Organizational Objectives and agreed upon deadlines • Preparing operational and executive-level reports and presentations for management, including Performance Dialogue, Business Area updates, and team performance (e.g., organization KPI’s, defining trends, providing analysis and reporting) • Facilitating cross work-stream and Business Area collaboration • Serving as Ultrasound’s primary liaison to MSC and Business Management Functions • Assisting with the development of industry and other presentations required. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: • 8-10 years’ experience working in a Finance/Sales/Marketing Strategy/Project management role • BS/BA in related discipline required • Experience running large projects, and designing and directing programs • High level of collaboration and strong execution skills are required • Experience working with Gantt charts, Status sheets, Hoshin Kanri and/or similar tools • Strong computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel. Experience in Sh@re, SAP and Business Objects preferred. Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: • Experience supporting a Healthcare Sales & Service organization • Knowledge of the medical industry, laboratory diagnostics business in particular a plus • Experience working with executive leadership teams The position will be based in Malvern. Some travel is required (estimated 5%).
