Project Manager (at the rank of Senior Research Assistant) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 495561) (to commence on September 1, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter until August 31, 2020, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above, and at least 1 year’s post-qualification work experience, preferably with experience in research and education. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

The appointee will work for a QEF project on supporting the learning and teaching of mathematics for non-Chinese speaking students in primary schools. He/She will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the project; including managing the collaboration among project schools; holding project meetings with different parties concerned; paying school visits and liaising with teachers at project schools on matters related to the process of school-based curriculum development; onsite directing the filming and producing of the video-record of selected lessons; organising training workshops, sharing sessions, and the final dissemination seminar/workshop; overseeing the production and delivery of the resource materials to go online and/or in printed form; assisting in the development and writing up of the learning/teaching resource materials; collecting and analysing evaluation data at various stages of the project; and supporting the writing of various project reports.
