Job Description

Intel has announced a major expansion of Intel’s production capacities in Europe and plans to develop two first-of-their-kind semiconductor fabs in Magdeburg, Germany, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. Planning has started, with construction expected to begin in the first half of 2023 and production planned to come online in 2027, subject to European Commission State aid approval and funding approval by the German authorities.

 

This role entails intensive planning & design efforts in various areas of this function, for this project and related projects

 

-          Final location is Magdeburg site

-          Interim location of this role is Home Based Office until office premises will be available, ETA: Q4 2022


The HR Process Systems and Optimization (PSO) PM team leads enterprise-wide projects critical to the realization of Intel's HR Long Range Plan. These projects are related to the implementation of employee benefits, HR tools, and a variety of software upgrades/implementations required to provide programs that support the wellbeing of our employees and their families globally. Examples of systems/tools and projects include, but are not limited to payroll systems, Workday, Saba, Concur, Job Architecture, M/A, IDM 2.0 etc. PSO PMs manage teams ranging in size from a dozen key stakeholders to a broad implementation structure of up to a 100 people. Projects range in size and complexity from one country to every country where an Intel employee resides. In addition to the typical responsibilities of a PM (e.g., project charter, timeline, budget, metrics, stakeholder management) our PMs lead project Test and/or Change Management teams. Our stakeholders include every BU and group in Intel, including Intel Executive Leadership Team.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 9+ years of Project Manager experience

  • 3+ years of experience using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies

  • 3+ years of experience working with global stakeholders at the director, GM, VP level.

  • PMP Certification


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prosci or similar Change Management training/experience

  • Jira

Work Model for this Role
