Office of Service-Learning

The Office of Service-Learning (OSL) is looking for creative and proactive innovators to develop and promote stimulating learning programmes to students in the form of projects, research, workshops, events and overseas academic activities.
The appointee is expected to provide general administrative, accounting and logistics support to ensure smooth operation of OSL’s activities and optimal office efficacy. The appointees will be required to (a) provide support to the office’s programs and events to ensure smooth implementation; (b) provide general administrative and logistics support to ensure effective office operation; (c) conduct learning activities to facilitate students to achieve optimal Service-Learning outcome; (d) facilitate SPO to develop and maintain effective communication channels to maximize students and faculty engagement; and (e) collect and process data to facilitate reporting to stakeholders for tracking project enhancement and quality assurance.
Requirements: (i) a recognized full-time university degree; (ii) excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (iii) excellent interpersonal, organizational, project management and communication skills; (iv) 2 years of experience in project and event organization; (v) experience in overseas locations and diverse job sectors will be an advantage; and (vi) prior work experience in higher education institutions, government, large NGOs and corporates will be an advantage.
Successful candidate will be working in a team with diverse expertise from science to engineering, and social science to marketing. Preference will be given to candidates with outstanding academic and working experience in Hong Kong, Mainland and international universities. Candidates with good knowledge of Service-Learning, experiential learning, e-learning, MOOC, STEM and liberal education are highly preferred. Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund.
