Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas NA, is currently hiring a Project Order Management Representative. This position is based at the Syracuse, NY or Highland, IL location Position Overview: This position is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and ensure that orders objectives for the company are met. In this function you will: Deliver an exceptional customer experience with proactive communication, orchestrating the right internal resources, and effectively using the customer engagement model to align, track and evolve customer business goals. Act as a trusted Customer point of contact, define measurable success plan with clear outcomes, and ensure cohesive communication across internal and customer audiences at all levels. Enforce company policies and ensures that order and return transactions are in compliance with current Terms and Conditions and GTM requirements. Oversee company compliance with applicable regulations including but not limited to U.S Trade compliance, DOT and IATA Regulations. Be the voice of the customer internally at Eaton – sharing strategic use-cases, process improvements and asks back into the internal ecosystem Contribute to the ongoing initiatives to continuously improve our approach to secure our customers success efficiently and effectively. Act as a key member of numerous internal and B2B automation projects Identify, document, and work closely with the Business Operations team to implement business and system improvements to scale up current processes. Work with cross-organizational and functional stakeholders to develop and evolve long-term strategies while driving tactical activities. Exercise judgment and discretion and makes decisions in area of responsibility, such as methods, timeline and resources needed to deliver on expectations. Provides consultative input for decisions made by others. Manage project documentation and reporting. Communicate potential delays and estimated delivery dates to all stakeholders. Serve as the subject matter expert and key contact point for order entry front-end processes for all order types. Serve as the initial escalation point for transaction processing and order entry representatives regarding issue resolution. Serve as the subject matter expert and key contact point for either front-end or back-end transaction processing. Such items may include new item order processing, SAP and warehouse management system interfacing, root cause analysis and resolution of order delays or errors and creating methods to standardize transactional processes. Analyze, prioritize, respond to, improve, expedite, coordinate and schedule customer’s requests and orders to effectively service customer and distributor requirements. Establish and maintain distributor, end user, and field sales confidence while enhancing the Eaton Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas image by developing a trusting, reliable relationship through quality customer service. Ensure processes are fully documented and standardized and full training provided in accordance with training plan so that tools & procedures developed are sustainable. Recommend products or possible substitutions of products to satisfy customer requirements and meet applicable customer specifications. Keep current on all Eaton CBO products and services, and industry standards and practices (both foreign and domestic) to provide accurate and timely response to inquiries. Conduct process training for order entry representatives as required. Implement Total Quality Concept with Eaton CBO Sales/Service to effectively accomplish departmental goals of satisfying customer’s need and continuous improvement. Proactively seek out areas for process improvement surrounding transaction processes, analyzes the issues, implements new processes, and completes documentation of the processes. Keep current on all technical advances in business including computing, e-commerce and database management. Gain intimate understanding of our system capabilities to become the subject matter expert on how to make processes more efficient. Adhoc tasks as assigned by management. Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum three (3) years of experience in customer service. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of (Syracuse, NY or Highlands, IL) to be considered.
