Project / Order Manager Reporting into the Manager of Projects and part of the Post-Order organization, in this role you will be involved in projects/orders in the following products: electrotechnical switching distribution devices (medium and low voltage). Modularly furnished standard systems with customer specific solutions. Unique customer made solutions, with visibility in the market (including Aftermarket). Assignments will come via application engineering, Country Sales Organizations CSO, CSU’s and/or external customers. Project/Order Management volume is: 3-20 orders simultaneously, different stages of execution, lead times of 12 weeks – 1 year, value up to €2,5 Mln. per order/project. It is also a multidisciplinary environment. Your key deliverables: Assess and check sales orders for feasibility, feasibility and commercial conditions and degree of standardization Discuss / negotiate problems and / or deviations in alignment with CSO and customer within set authorization frameworks Determine Make To Stock MTS, Assemble To Order ATO or Engineer To Order ETO qualification order for internal organization and confirm Analyse substantive order data and specifications and determine materials and man hours Translate to technical documentation production and outsource process steps in alignment with Purchasing Support / train licensees Compile and manage a multidisciplinary project team (up to 5 people) Monitor progress and quality Offer extra and less work Organize and guide FAT and SAT Prepare Field Service and perform site work First point of contact for warranties and claims Qualifications Are you? Educated at bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent? Coming with 3-5 years of working experience? Having in depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering and global knowledge on Mechanical Engineering and materials? Knowledgeable in Incoterms & payment terms? Having PC and software skills? Knowledgeable in Applicable Standards? Possessing know-how in product portfolio & possible applications for standard and non-standard systems? Skilled in Project management? PMP certification or equivalent PM certification with another institute is a plus. Possessing negotiation and analytical skills, accurate, proactive/self-starter, and efficient (time vs. value)? Teamwork oriented (Accountability Self & Others), driven by Ownership and Adaptability? Focused on Continuous Improvement? Possessing presentation skills (Management Level - Customers), including excellent communication skills? Able to work within an international and diverse matrix organization? Fluent in Dutch, English? German is a plus. Then we want to hear about you!
