Location Hengelo, Netherlands The EMEA Electrical Systems & Solutions Business Unit - Post-Order organization, part of Critical Systems Division, for the department Projects - locaiton Hengelo, Netherlands - has an opening for a: Project/Order Manager This position reports into the Manager Projects and is part of the Post-Order organization. The incumbent will be involved in projects/orders in the following products: electrotechnical switching distribution devices (medium and low voltage). Modularly furnished standard systems with customer specific solutions. Unique customer made solutions, with visibility in the market (including Aftermarket). Assignments will come via application engineering, CSO’s, CSU’s and/or external customers. Project/Order Management volume of 3-20 orders simultaneously, different stages of execution, lead times of 12 weeks – 1 year, value up to €2,5 Mln. per order/project. Multidisciplinary environment. Your main duties: Assessing and checking sales orders for feasibility, feasibility and commercial conditions and degree of standardization Discussing / negotiating problems and / or deviations in alignment with CSO and customer within set authorization frameworks Determine MTS, ATO or ETO qualification order for internal organization and confirm Analyse substantive order data and specifications and determine materials and man hours Translate to technical documentation production and outsource process steps in alignment with Purchasing Supporting / training licensees Compiling and managing a multidisciplinary project team (up to 5 people) Monitor progress and quality Offer extra and less work Organize and guide FAT and SAT Prepare Field Service and perform site work First point of contact for warranties and claims Qualifications Required: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 3-5 years of working experience In depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering and global knowledge on Mechanical Engineering and materials. Incoterms & payment terms knowledge PC en software skills Applicable Standards knowledge Product portfolio & possible applications for standard and non-standard systems Project management skills, PMP certification or equivalent PM certification with another institute is a plus Negotiation & analytical skills, being accurate, proactive/self-starter, efficient (time vs value) Teamwork (Accountability Self & Others), Ownership and Adaptability – Eaton Leadership Model Continuous Improvement capabilities Presenting skills (Management Level - Customers) including excellent communication skills Ability to work within an international, multi culture and diverse matrix organisation Driving licence.
