Job Description
Siemens Logistics is a leading provider of innovative products and solutions in mail and parcel logistics and automation as well as in airport logistics with baggage and cargo handling. Software solutions and customer services along the complete product life cycle complete the portfolio. Major customers include renowned airports as well as postal and parcel service providers around the globe. What are my responsibilities? • Acting as an interface to the business; • Coordinating with the cross-functional partners; • Early involvement of procurement into the bid and execution phases of projects; • Apply and ensure the Correct Purchasing Guideline; • Coordinating activities with suppliers; • Acts as a key contact for all strategic procurement. Area of responsibility: • Support in project purchasing; • Procurement plan development; • Documenting all processes related to the project; • Local strategic procurement; • Support in Contract execution; • Perform savings according to required target. What do I need to qualify for this job? • Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering); • Fluent English is mandatory; • Must have minimum 3 years of experience in Project Business; • Experience in Project Business is an advantage; • Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint and in the use of mini-tab tools; • Strong process engineering and data analysis skills; • Strong communication and presentation skills; • Teamwork spirit, leadership skills, organizational capacity and eager to improve mentality; • Availability for occasional travel.
