Turnkey is a complex and high value rail market, involving interfaces with vendors both locally and globally, and working with onshore and offshore colleagues in creating Strategic Sourcing Strategies. This is your role. What part will you play? In this role as Project Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for New Zealand projects to integrate procurement in the project management process and project teams including an early involvement during sales phase. You will: Lead the integration of the procurement function in the customer bid activities, and execution projects along the PM@Siemens life cycle generating savings. Lead the Procurement Process Analysis and Compliance in NZ to ensure projects and sourcing activities are compliant with SMO policies and process, and the NZ legislative environment. Ensure materials in NZ are physically receipted and accounted. Design and implement a project procurement workflow that enables procurement process and decision making in NZ within the Siemens compliance framework. Apply knowledge in New Zealand specific procurement to SMO by reviewing major categories of spend including subcontract and temporary labour to ensure no conflict with NZ legislation. Review NZ Project Material handling practices from goods receipting, validation of materials on hand, security, and outbound assignment. What you need to make real what matters. You are a high performing procurement professional who brings experience with New Zealand market analysis and generate savings and brings. You bring a high standard of Stakeholder Engagement by using positive and persuasive engagement style, building strong relationships with NZ project teams to ensure consistent application of SMO procurement policies, processes, and procedures in Project Procurement. You have experience in lead and create savings results in a multi-layered sourcing environment. Experience or has demonstratable skills integrating themselves in a new stakeholder environment, or working in a change management environment when integrating procurement into an onsite team, will be well regarded.
