Project/Program Manager
Intel CorporationHillsboroUpdate time: August 17,2022
Job Description

The Global Supply Chain Operations Accelerated Solutions Team (GSCO AST) is a team of hands-on supply chain leaders with broad and deep experience resolving complex supply chain problems. We engage with organizations across Intel to quickly contain, diagnose and solve urgent supply chain problems for businesses that lack resources or expertise to address issues in their supply chains

We need a professional Program/Project Manager to join our team to put structure around our processes and lead cross-functional teams to a solution that delights our internal customers. You will contribute throughout our engagement process and take a leadership role in implementing solutions by developing a project plan, tracking progress against milestones, and overcoming obstacles along the way.

We are available to engage anywhere in the Intel supply chain, and our engagement can be scaled based on the needs of the business. In any new engagement, we define an operating structure with the business to guide and drive business transformation. Together with the business, we develop baseline operational measurements and define success metrics. Our immediate focus will be on triage and containment of the business problem. Once the issue has been contained, we complete supply chain diagnostics to define the problem statement and develop potential solutions. We disengage after stabilizing the solution and handing it off to the business. Every Intel business is unique and enterprise solutions do not solve every issue. With that in mind we specialize in identifying third-party solutions and outsourcing to experts, often as a bridge until enterprise solutions are available. Our goal is speed: speed to containment and speed to stabilization.

As the Project/Program Manager - Accelerated Solutions Team, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Supply assurance
  • Supply chain solutions and tools
  • Design-for-Supply-Chain
  • End-to-end supply chain functional integration and optimization
  • Supply chain risk mitigation
  • Lead highly matrixed, cross-organizational project or program teams.
  • Key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally for the projects or programs you lead.
  • Exercise judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
  • The successful candidate will oversee the identification of tasks and research, dependencies, and costs; communicates expectations to core team members.
  • Create/track/adjust the program schedule and assess risks and identify solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals.
  •  Ensure that quality standards and budget constraints are met and appropriate progress against the schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate.
  • You will prioritize the utilization of resources with other functions, and you will influence business unit or cross-organizational strategies relevant to program goals.
