Project Sales Executive –K&B Taiwan (Taichung)


BASIC FUNCTIONS


  • Within delegated responsibility and authority of the Associate Director, K&B Taiwan, responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and evaluating all field sales activities within Taiwan, in order to promote and service Kohler kitchen cabinetry products through distributors to builders, contractors, and designer, other specifies and users in accordance with establishing profitability and service goals. Manage the Kohler kitchen operation of KEC showroom and activities.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES


Ø Establish and maintain regular contact with major specifiers, mechanical contractors, designers, builders, developers, and the lodging industry within the assigned area.


Ø Identify and recommend appropriate promotional and support material required to enhance the image of Kohler within the project market and new residential market.


Ø Coordinate and implement presentations to major specifiers, mechanical contractors, designers, builders, developers to introduce new products, assist in selecting product, writing proposals, specifications and obtaining approval of Kohler products.


Ø Work with local government authorities and inspectors to assure specific local approvals, listings or product standard tests.


Ø Coordinate and suggest company participation in industry associations and trade shows to promote Kohler products.


Ø Educate distributor personnel with regard to Kohler’s project and new residential programs and the process involved in requesting quotations, submitting and releasing orders for jobs.


Ø Prepare and maintain required reports and forms related to daily sales activities, expenses, correspondence, etc.


Ø Coordinate and administer sales support materials, i.e. audio-visual equipment, literature, displays, product samples, catalogs and other sales materials.


Skills/Requirements


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


Ø University graduated in marketing or business administration preferred.

Ø At least 5 years sales experience in Kitchen Bath or Building material industry.

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, conversant in working cross-culturally.


Ø Self-driven, self-disciplined, and goal-oriented.


Ø Experienced in kitchen cabinetry industry will be a plus. Willing to travel frequently.


Ø Previous mill-work design and project management experience is better.

Ø In addition, computer skills such as 20/20 or equivalent, CAD programs, MS Word & Excel are required.
