Eaton’s Electrical Sector - Canada is currently seeking a Project Sales Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Vanier QC, location. Position Overview: The primary function of the Project Sales Representative is to achieve assigned sales and order goals for Eaton product to customers in the Eastern Quebec Area for the industrial, commercial, and institutional market. This position includes mainly the coverage of all major consultants and industrial account in Eastern Quebec. The Project Sales Representative has the responsibility to manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, and consultants. Essential Functions Achieve assigned team sales and orders goals Manage all aspects of the customer relationship within the assigned account base Implement sales plans and growth strategies to meet performance requirements Promote Eaton products and services to targeted customers with the objective of optimizing sales volume, product mix, and profit margin Provide technical assistance to distributors, customers and consultants Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities; communicate such information internally and drive corrective strategies or actions Maintain cooperative and credible working relationships with company personnel to assure customer satisfaction Prepare sales proposals and value propositions based on customer needs and expectations Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, and use sound business judgment to enhance volume and margins Implement new product programs as needed Prepare sales presentations to create product/service/solution understanding and awareness Prepare monthly sales forecast and operations report based on negotiation activity and customer feedback Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as Safety and Environmental standards. Qualifications Basic Qualifications University degree or College diploma in the electrical or related discipline CET designation or working towards. Good knowledge on industrial controls, automation, and electrical equipment. Bilingual, French, and English, written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications: (preferred experience but not required) Post-secondary Business program. Minimum 5 years Technical sales experience Market/Customer knowledge. Position Criteria: Be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship. No relocation allowance is available for this position.
