What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure: Siemens is seeking a Project Scheduler to join the Siemens Energy Performance Services (EPS) team focused developing all project scheduling activities in strict accordance with the project contract documents. This person will report to the EPS Quality & Safety Manager and have no direct reports. You will be responsible for supporting projects throughout the United States. Utilizing industry standard scheduling tools, the Project Scheduler is responsible for project schedule development, management, and analysis on behalf of the Project Manager for assigned projects. Many simultaneous projects in various phases of sales development, implementation, or closeout will be managed by the Project Scheduler. Projects are assigned based on risk components by the Operations Management team. The Project Scheduler will provide preliminary planning and schedule analysis in support of the Project Executive, the Project Management Team and the Sales Team during RFP response and proposal preparation efforts. You must identify key customer requirements, assemble estimated timelines, and coordinate input from subcontractors and specialists when developing schedules. We are looking for independent and driven team players that are interested in joining a stable industry incumbent that is investing heavily into expanding its Distributed Energy offering. This position requires up to 15% travel so the successful candidate should be located anywhere in the US, within 50 miles of a major airport. Responsibilities: Ensures the schedule is validated by the management team and tasks tracked and managed to assure the project meets customer commitments. Routine measurement and analysis to allow management to identify any concerns and help decide actions if necessary. Review and critique the logic, sequence and durations of subcontractor’s project schedules and is responsible for enforcing regular maintenance. Assist the Project Management team in determining the potential overall project impact from Changes-in-Scope, ASIs, RFIs, Field Orders, etc. Will occasionally be expected to prepare time impact analysis (TIA), Earned Value analysis and human resource requirements/projections. Will routinely communicate with Commercial Project Managers, Project Managers, EHS Managers, Engineering Managers, Operations Managers, Specialist Supervisors, Subcontractor Project Managers, Customer Schedulers, Customer Project Managers while performing your responsibilities. Qualifications: 3+ years practical and specialized experience as Project Scheduler, or schedule management experience on complex construction projects. Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Project 2013, Microsoft Project 360, Microsoft Project Online Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
