The Project Steering and Launch Excellence Intern will help to steer launch related activities for upcoming Plant 10 Projects and support to further develop launch excellence projects across the plant.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Develop and implement tool for communication and tracking of processes in launches
- Work to capture, evaluate, and communicate lessons learned from processes across all technologies during product launch
- Work to maintain an overview of technical vehicle content for communication to process business partners
- Work to evaluate meetings across the plant to ensure conformity on best practices
- Ability to communicate and facilitate across all levels of the business and across cultures
- Understanding of processes and roles involved in the launch of a complete vehicle
- Knowledge of the BMW product catalog and the technologies therein

- Degree pursuit in Bachelor of Science or higher in Business, International Business, Logistics/Operations Management, or IT degree
- Successful completion of previous internship/working student assignment in a bi-lingual environemt within the BMW group (3-month period minimum)
- Experience in Excel/PowerPoint, VBA
- Ability to work independently with a holisitc approach to business
- Effective & professional communication skills
- Current enrollment in Master program outside of the US or enrolled in the last semester of a Bachelor program outside of the US.
- Equivalent of 3.0 GPA.
