This is a Project Supervisor role reporting to the Country Real Estate Manager in the Global Business Services located in Beijing, China. You will be responsible to manage all real estate interior fitting-out projects across China. You will also ensure all projects are handled with best industry practice and in compliance with local code and corporate standard.

Your responsibilities

• Managing all fit-out projects including office relocation and refitting to provide quality deliverables on time, on budget, on end user requirements.
• Developing annual investment budget base on ongoing/potential project. Preparing business case/justification to get internal approval.
• Being familiar with full cycle of decoration project, including design, project management, vetting/submission. Preparing technical specification based on user requirement.
• Keeping in with new ideas and approaching in real estate developments, materials and techniques and performing cost-benefit analysis. Setting up PM process/standard to ensure all projects implemented with uniformed standard accordingly.
• Zero harm – (in conjunction with the Health and Safety department) ensuring that all activities led by real estate during construction are undertaken with all necessary safety control measures to mitigate and eliminating hazards/risks.
• Challenges include being able to adapt to a dynamic and multi-cultural working environment, taking lead of decoration project, ensuring project delivered within budget, in timely manner; teaming up with/manage internal/external parties, including end user, SCM, GC, PMC and relative government authorities, introducing best industry practice, in the field of design, energy saving, environmental protection and driving transformational changes of manufacturing/R&D and office facilities.

Your background

• Must have a bachelor’s degree. Major in civil engineering, construction management or MEP preferred.
• At least 5 years working experience in management of fit-out project. Experience working with MNCs preferred.
• Expert in project management (qualified PMP preferred) with experience to run large interior decoration project, including M&E/HVAC facility.
• Strong customer service consciousness, good communication skills and innovative spirit.
• Fluent English, excellent skill with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Be able to travel substantially.
