Job Title: Project Team Coordinator

The Project Team Coordinator (PTC) is the primary delivery head for one or more assigned on-going project divisions that works under the program management leadership of the Client Services Manager for a "key account”. The PTC is the primary production resource accountable for the successful deliveries of his/her team.  The PTC will work closely with the CSM to maximize client satisfaction and quality, while striving for financial improvements in the assigned project divisions. Ultimately. the PTC is responsible to customer business needs and goals, and their "alignment" with these needs and goals is mediated via the leadership of the CSM.

Main responsibilities:

Cooperate with the project manager on the technical preparation phase of the project, its realization and final evaluation of the project

Create (prepare internal version) of project plans and schedules based on client-specific requirements; apply appropriate contingencies in planning and resourcing

Allocate required project resources (people, tools, hardware, software, partners, etc.)

The PCT will have considerable, but not complete visibility into project financials, including buy and sell rates, but not all salaries.  It is expected that the PCT will develop a mature perspective on the realities of supporting global business and help create and implement project resourcing and financial strategies, but contribute at the same time, to client satisfaction and Moravia's financial health

Ensure the engineering work is being performed correctly, according to the project specific instructions, per deadlines and customers' quality requirements

Lead the implementation of new customers' and company tools (including testing) and provide professional feedback

Independently communicate with project team, partners, customers and company departments per project manager instructions

Cooperate with the project manager on planning engineering resources, reporting to the customer and solving project issues

Monitor the performance of engineers; suggest areas of further training and skill development

Identify risks and inefficiencies in engineering processes and suggests solutions 

Prepare and complete project specific education, coaching.

Participate in project planning and preparation

May act as superior's backup in non-financial matters 

In line with project plans: organize, assign, measure and monitor work of his/her project team members; ensures team's compliance with standards, practices and policies

Ensure quality and timelines of team's deliveries, as well as team's responsiveness and professional treatment of both external end internal clients

Maximizes utilization of his/her subordinates. Prepares alternative work for periods without projects - internal work on unit development, billable work for other teams and units.

Ensure that specific knowledge is recorded and shared by his/her team across Moravia through wiki pages, shared drives, portals, trainings etc.

Actively participate in Unit (corporate) management (meetings) - provide data, inform, propose innovations, provide constructive feedback

Authorities:

Recruitment, training, mentoring, performance objective setting and evaluation, personal development and career planning of his/her subordinates. Direct people and performance management of Leads under supervision. Does not allocate budget for hiring, but has final say on new hires or internal reassignments of new resources to team and can recommend removals from team (subject to account team management and local approval). MUST perform and document regular 1-to-1s with direct reports

Administrates project portals, applications and tool settings

Assigns work to the team

Provides and compiles data for team performance evaluation

Provides feedback on vendor performance to the project manager

In cooperation with the superior, chooses the localization tools and processes, if not specified by the customer

Can suggest changes in teams
