Your responsibility will be the successful project delivery in the areas of EMS (Energy Management System), ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System), DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management), MGMS (Microgrid Management System) and MMS (Market Management System). The position requires effective leading of project technical teams, supporting the project management, and communicating to the customers. As a project technical lead, your priority is the technical delivery of the complex projects, delivering on schedule, within budget, and meeting customer expectations. It's your role, here's the part you can play: As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Siemens Energy Management solutions to global customers by Overseeing and helping project team members with the engineering and the software development of project enhancements Supporting Project Manager with project scheduling and reporting to management Communicating technical information to customers Troubleshooting technical issues and leading the architecture of project solutions Identifying and managing risk in during project delivery Be part of our team, here's what's needed: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 5 years in technical or electrical engineering within transmission or distribution operation, including relevant Project Delivery experience Experience with one of the following: SCADA systems, mission critical systems or Network Grid Control Centers software Experience leading technical teams delivering solutions to customers Ability to communicate effectively highly technical information clearly and concisely to peers, management, and customers Fluent English language skills Extremely partner-focused, proactive, and effective within a team environment Additional relevant but not necessary experience include: Software development experience (C/C++, Java, Python, XML) Power System Modeling (CIM, UML) Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum Experience with Linux, Windows, and AIX Platforms We've got a lot to offer: An opportunity to work with innovative and modern technologies - products and services in the field of electrification, automation, and digitalization Competitive compensation (salary and bonus based on qualifications) Health, dental, and vision plans with options Matching 401(k) Unlimited Flexible Time Off Paid parental leave Extensive product training and professional career development Education and tuition reimbursement programs available Siemens is recognized as being a top employer for diversity, sustainability, innovation, and technology.
