Project phase

• Develop strong understanding of processing equipment utilized in exist production lines and technology receiving for technology transfer project.
• Provide Process Engineering support and insure engineering team deliver project FEED and Detail Design for site engineering projects
• Work with project manager and technology manager to define and finalize project scope and project requirements.
• Provide project procurement support including producing ITB and MFQ package and lead tech quotation evaluation
• Any other work relating to the project engineering activities

Operation phase

• Manage the day-to-day production of all polypropylene compounded production
• Develop and manage quality testing of compound products complying with guidelines and specification.
• Oversee the environmental sampling programs, facility compliance, and project engineering of plant to ensure current regulations are met.
• With assistance from the compounding supervisor, manages the education, certification, performance, competency and scheduling of the compounding operation staff.
• Set up and maintain a quality assurance program for customer and IATF 16949 qualification.

With assistance from the inventory specialist coordinates efficient inventory management of material and products with minimal waste.

• Bachelor and above degree in Polymers, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related subjects.

10+ years of polymer compounding experience in multinational company with 3+ years team management experience.

• In-depth understanding of polymer structure-processing-property relationship, hands-on experience in product & compounding formulation development.
• Strong analytical and problem anticipation & solving skills; innovative, ability to think outside the box and generate creative approaches.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication, presentation, and listening skills; ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences (internal & external).
• Highly motivated towards goals & objectives.
• Excellent organization and planning skills; multitasking.

Fluency in oral and written English.
