She / He will report to the Head of Proposals, and she / he will be responsible for the whole bid phase, focusing on technical and economical stage, ensuring that products and systems offer is prepared on time and according to the Customer and Company’s requirements: Build project designs and develop the best configuration according to customer requirement using specific project engineering software tools and costing; Ability to manage all the customer requirements and work closely with the sales department during Technical and Commercial negotiations; Bid and Proposal activities related to customer’s requests for quotation in the assigned geographical area in coordination with sales team Prepare final proposal for submittal to customer, including any documentation such as technical data sheets, bids forms, commercial forms, legal forms, bid bonds, etc. Standardization of validated concept and solutions to replicate them as function packages Collaborate with colleagues of Business Unit to share market data updates registering bid results in Offers & Orders database. Compile statistics on bid performance, hit rate and market penetration. Prepare reports on proposals as required. Build relationships and cooperate with factories for strategic projects and influence the main Partners; What you need to bring with you You should already have significant operational technical experience in electrical business with focus on configuration of medium switchgear with: Ability to anticipate and understand customers’ needs, be adaptable and keep commitments; Attention to detail with good focus on time and task management in order to handle many orders and tasks in parallel. Knowledge of MV distribution network; competences in LV switchgear, busduct and MV/LV transformers are welcome; General knowledge of AutoCAD and educational background in electrical subjects; Availability for business trips on national level, and sometimes also international Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken; Effective collaboration in networks across businesses and functions Always strive to develop technology and ethical guardrails in parallel Be a role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non-negotiable cultural element Eligibility to work in Italy What can we further offer?
