Review and analysis of the tender requirements from all aspects of technical, performance, and operational needs, to develop technically compliant and cost-effective BHS layout concepts. Perform spatial analysis of the system design within the building constraints, considering O&M, Access/Egress, H&S, and Evacuation requirements. Develop & Finalize the System Solutions in 3D using AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks. Development of material flows diagrams capturing the key performance & design parameters to validate the system concepts. Generation of the proposal drawings to be submitted with the offers. Conduct detailed site surveys of both brown and green field sites in potential opportunities regionally and internationally if required. Preparation of BOQ’s & BOM’s to support the estimation function. Value Engineering of the system design to develop cost-effective system solutions for all Bids & Proposals, including selecting OEM system components, input on pricing estimates, manpower plans, and associated phasing/scheduling activities. Written explanation of the system function and operation for inclusion in the offer documentation. Collaborate and present to other Industry experts, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on the technical aspects of the system design. Steelwork overviews, taking into consideration the O&M activities and coordination of the same with the relevant departments for estimation, procurement, and planning. Understand Internal and External equipment benefits and limitations as available within the marketplace to prepare best-of-breed total system solutions. Be or be willing to become a recognized technical expert in this field. What do I need to qualify for the role? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D layout development using AutoCad, Revit, and NavisWorks. Able to demonstrate experience in reviewing/analyzing tender requirements from all aspects of technical, performance, and operational needs. Able to demonstrate how you have/can effectively communicate with multi-disciplines and to which levels. How you have developed your reputation/relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate any key situations where you have made a positive impact to influence the system design and subsequent contract award. Flexible working approach and capability to manage own workload, a team player who is also able to train others and share knowledge. Good written and spoken English. Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally if required. Understanding of Animation, Simulation & BIM would be advantageous.
