Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Protein Scientist, are to: 

 

  • Design, conduct & interprets GLP-compliant experiments for producing or characterizing molecular materials (Protein) for biotech safety assessment, and generating data for dossier preparation;
  • Develop and implement research and/or technology-driven proposals;
  • Effectively communicate research findings with team leads;
  • Prepare data documentation, study report and characterization records and ensure QMS, GLP and GRR compliance;
  • Prepare or contribute to the communication of important results/findings to key stakeholders both internally and externally;
  • Play a key role in digital transformation and actively make contributions to the improvement of data generation efficiently in the team.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Scientist, Ph.D. with minimum of three years molecular protein biochemistry experience, or Master’s with minimum of five years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s with minimum of seven years of relevant experience;
  • Must have significant experience purifying proteins using affinity-based and non-affinity based methods;
  • Demonstration of a sustained high level of technical skill and achievement;
  • Be able to keep abreast of new science and technological developments and exploit them to continuously improve functional area capabilities;
  • A good team player and able to foster a team-based approach to research;
  • Be able to interact with colleagues in other functions and department to solve technical problems.
