YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Protein Specialist, are to: 

• Execute GLP compliant experiments for producing or characterizing molecular materials (DNA/protein) for biotech safety assessment, and generating data for dossier preparation;
• Effectively conduct multiple, complex scientific projects and/or studies concurrently;
• Provide technical input, and effectively communicate technical findings to colleagues, Regulatory Affairs, and product core members;
• Manage technical challenges that might affect data target;
• Work independently to identify technical research opportunities in the area of molecular biology/biochemistry;
• Prepare data documentation, study report and characterization records, and ensure QMS, GLP, and GRR compliance;
• Timely and clearly summarize and communicate research results, and publish important results/findings internally or externally;
• Keep current with scientific literature on molecular/biochemistry techniques and new technologies;
• Play a key role in digital transformation, and actively contribute to the improvement of the data generation efficiencies of the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. with a minimum of four years’ molecular biology/biochemistry experience or;
• Master of Science degree with a minimum of eight years’ relevant experience or;
• Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience;
• Ability to mentor peers/colleagues in the area of molecular biology/protein biochemistry;
• Contribute to research projects, technologies, publications, intellectual properties, or trade secrets;
• Knowledge and experience in leading molecular reagent production or characterization, and respected by peers/colleagues in the area of expertise;
• Ability to align technical activities with broad business objectives.
