Responsible for developing and managing provider networks and vendor relationships for new and existing sites.Key responsibilities:
- In developing/managing relationships with targeted hospitals and healthcare providers.
- Negotiate cost effective contracts in compliance with all provider, and corporate requirements.
- Have a holistic view of the utilization and find out the saving opportunities and risk points.
- Manage/negotiate medical claims for non-contracted providers in established markets.
- Specific projects/data analysis as directed by Medical Network Development.
- Provide support for pre-bid assessments for the business development team, securing Letters of Intent and establishing preliminary relationships.
- Responsible for maintaining documentation for all hospital/provider contracts and assisting with providing information for audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/experience required:
- Over 5 years of Managed Care/Healthcare experience
- Over 5 years of experience in working with contract terms and reimbursement methods
- Strong skills in MS WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and Outlook required Excellent written and oral communications skills, multi-tasking, problem solving capability, creativity, initiative, teamwork skills, public relations and customer service skills required
- Fluent (spoken and written) in English and Chinese
- Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
- Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
- Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
- Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
- Must be able to communicate with both public and private stakeholders.
- Must be able to lead whole network team to achieve the goal.
- Be agile of the medical market changes, competitor information and the medical policies in China.
