Our international school is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Psychology, ESL, English Literature Teacher to join our team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology, literature, and a proficiency in teaching English as a Second Language.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging relevant lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and standards for high school students.
• Provide ESL instruction to non-native English speakers, focusing on developing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and language proficiencies.
• Assess students' progress in psychology.
• Offer feedback to students in a constructive manner, encouraging growth and improvement.
• Develop and implement classroom management strategies that foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and other department to plan interdisciplinary lessons and activities.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
• Stay updated on the latest teaching trends and psychological research to enhance educational practices.
Job Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in psychology .A master's degree is preferred.
• A TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent qualification .
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in psychology.
• Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with the challenges of teaching ESL students and the ability to employ effective teaching strategies to address these challenges.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn new teaching methodologies.
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
• Legal eligibility to work in China
What We Offer:
Monthly salary of 22000 - 25000 RMB before tax
Holiday Pay:
1) Paid Chinese official holidays
2) Winter Holiday: 3-4 weeks, 80% pay
3) Summer Holiday: 4-6 weeks, 80%-100% upon contract renewal or work performance evaluation
Housing allowance /Free apartment: Free apartment or housing subsidy
Insurance : medical and accidental insurance provided
Flight allowance: 9000rmb after completion of contract
Working time: Monday to Friday, 15-20 classes, 50 min per class;
Student Grade: Grade 10-12
