Responsibilities:
The PR Leader will work with CEO to drive the corporate PR and build Burning Rock ’s corporate branding and image in China. In general, this person is going to lead all non-products related PR while focusing on the following major responsibilities:
- IPO PR Strategy: Establish public relations functions in the pre-listing stage; formulate strategic public relation plans and establish Burning Rock as the industry leader; help to enhance brand awareness and positioning of IPO
- Corporate PR Strategy: Define Burning Rock corporate PR strategy and activities
- PR Consulting & Training: Provide PR consulting toward business executives and ensure their media readiness through training and coaching;
- Media Relationship. Build and manage close relationship with key media, including both international and local. Drive positive media coverage about the company’s strategy, people, and culture.
- Analyst and Opinion Leader Relationship: Build and manage close relationship with key analyst and industry opinion leaders and build Burning Rock ’s image and reputation in China.
- Executive Speech Development. Identify key speaking opportunity and define content for those speaking opportunities and other communications events including developing presentations and preparing presenters.
- Consulting internally and acting as company media spokesperson and/or briefing Senior Management Leaders to act as company spokesperson as appropriate
- Event Management. Design and manage media-related corporate PR events such as press conferences, workshops, and interviews etc.
- Agency Management. Work with external agencies for effective execution and planning.
- Crisis/Issues Management. Be a core member of a team that handles crises and issues when they arise.

Your success in this position will be measured in the following key areas:
- How well and closely you are able to work with your executives to become trusted communications advisor and how successfully you enable them to drive forward a communications agenda and strategy.
- Developing a comprehensive communications plan that encompasses relevant message platforms, event execution, speaker image and personal development and focusing on corporate communications.
- Quickly engaging with key industry media and opinion leaders and build solid relationship with them.
- A thorough understanding of different communications channels, inc. the traditional media and new media. Ability to leverage these channels for compelling story telling.
- Quality and impact of final content. Including creativity and impact of presentations as well as supporting elements
Qualifications:
This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, superior communication skills, a high level of executive maturity, and the ability to think strategically and drive compelling messaging, presentations and speeches.
- A bachelor degree is required.
- At least 8 years of experience, in a public relations or communications related role.
- Experience within the healthcare industry is a strong plus. Media background is also a plus.
- Excellent Mandarin and English Skills – Candidate must have a superb command of Mandarin and English (oral and written).
- Solid understanding of media and reporters, both traditional media and new media including international medias
- Strategic Agility – being able to understand business, articulate it in PR language and come up with the strategic communication plan.
- Sound Judgment – should demonstrate sound judgment during incidents/crisis and in other communication occasions.
- Listening and Collaboration – must be a team-player and have excellent listening skills.
- Attention to Detail – Required in all briefing materials, slides, and statistics included in speeches.
- Executive Maturity – must have experience working with senior executives.
- Project Management – Candidate must be able to multitask in a fast-moving environment.
