Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations, the Public Relations Coordinator/Specialist will help drive general visibility for Siemens Healthineers, across the portfolio and as an industry thought leader. This role is responsible for supporting media outreach (working closely with Director and PR staff), coordinating key media relations functions for the department, and supporting corporate-level thought leadership initiatives and product-level communications campaigns. Essential Job Function: Develop PR deliverables, including press releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, press kit materials, media briefing materials, executive biographies, etc. Report on and promote results of PR program to key internal stakeholders Facilitate photography and image access for media and publications Coordinate Siemens Healthineers product placements in movies, television and other consumer media Plan and coordinate media training sessions for senior executives Coordinate photo shoots for executive headshots Support the PR team with additional media relations activities (as assigned) Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments under tight deadlines Strong editing and proofreading skills; keen attention to detail Previous Corporate or Agency PR experience preferred 1-4 years experience in Communications function Willingness to work as a part of an integrated team Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred Flexibility and willingness to travel Baccalaureate degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field Siemens Healthineers has recently announced the next steps in our continued commitment to prioritize colleague health, comply with customer/business partner requirements, and help preserve our business continuity.
