To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E As Purchase to Pay Accountant you will be responsible and accountable to perform the accounting activities for daily operations of the Hungarian vendors. Daily process of incoming supplier invoices, prepare required reports at month end, complete month-end closing activities, sort out blocked items, and work with the local team in general. Your role within the Global Financial Services and Systems (GFSS) Function within the Budapest Business Centre, reporting to Accounting Supervisor. The individual should understand the process, the use of workflows well and should be able to sort out issues coming up along the way up. This role is instrumental in supporting the Plant Controller to ensure an adequate internal controls environment throughout the plant. This position also has responsibility for ensuring financial accounting activities at the location are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, Eaton Corporate policies and practice. Your main responsibilities: Process Centric: Daily process of the incoming supplier invoices with demonstrating efficiency, agility and ensure a high level of accuracy. Make sure that invoices are ready to be paid on time, so that they meet their due date. Clearing GRNI, Regular Statement reconciliation Control & Compliance: Responsible for the deployment of actions to ensure an adequate environment of internal control. Provide compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and all applicable statutory requirements as they apply to their areas of responsibility. Active co-operation required to ensure compliance is maintained for all financial activities, as well as the safeguarding of plant assets in compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Quality culture: Support EATON's strategic endeavor to automate processes and drive process improvements. Process Standardization: Regular review of existing controls and Governance of the standard processes and ensuring alignment to globally defined SSC processes Collaboration: Collaborates with the other stakeholders to support overall goals and objectives. Proactively manage issues through understanding of the overall processes and interconnect. Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a practical approach to continuous improvement of the processes. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Bachelor degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting. Relevant working experience in accounts payable or related fields of work. Working experience with Microsoft Office Products. Working knowledge in finance modules of SAP system. Strong English and Hungarian language knowledge (spoken and written). Able to work within a large, multi-cultural organization with international stakeholders. Effective communication, evaluation and problem solving skills. Preferred experience with process improvement initiatives.
