In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all of purchase orders fully fulfilled on time, in Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will ensure the purchasing plan for production on time.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for making available material plan on basis of efficiently scheduling production plan lack of materials tracking timely, ensuring the PR creating (Purchasing plan) for production plan on time
• Being responsible for releasing available purchase order and production order, ensure timely following up and on-time fulfilling.
• Confirming customer orders and forecasting with best delivery schedule and well controlling inventory at reason level for per product category
• Being responsible for timely disposing abnormal material
• Providing report regarding supplier delivery performance summary and escalating problem with root cause analysis when there is supply chain risk
• Participating in supplier performance review and supply chain process development for improvement purpose

Your background

• 3 years previous work experience in manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge of analyzing with high accuracy the order/forecast situation and implement the planning, familiar with supply chain work flow and process, high knowledge of material and production plan, have basic knowledge of international trade and domestics trade
• Knowledge of SAP system, purchase standards and practices, capability to resolve problems relating to supply concerns and issues
• Good command of computer and must be proficient using SAP
• A bachelor’s degree or above major in Mechanics, Electronics, Management, Trade or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience
• Fluency in English and Chinese language both oral and written
• Teamwork spirit with good communication & coordination skills, and must be able to adapt to high pressure and short-term travel
