Responsibilities:

• Handle all purchasing activities of diamond, gemstone and pearl independently;
• Monitor and follow up the inventory, maintain inventory accuracy and system updating;
• Closely work with product development team and sales teams for product request and assortment;
• Maintain and evaluate the existing vendor portfolio; source and build up new potential vendors for vendor pool;
• Work with internal and external parties to standardize material quality;
• Regular and timely reports to management;
• Occasional travel to China factory is required;

Requirements:

• F. 7 or diploma graduate;
• With passion for jewelry industry;
• At least 5 years’ experience in diamond purchase, grading and assortment;
• Diploma holder of GIA, FGA, DGA, GG or DG qualifications will be advantageous;
• Great team player, well-organized, detail-minded, and self-motivated with high integrity, strong interpersonal & communication skills;
• Proficiency in both written & spoken English and Chinese;
• Good computer skills and sensitive to numerical data;
• Good time management, able to work under tight deadlines with high accuracy;
• Applicant with less experience will be considered for the position of Purchasing Executive
